1Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, username, and profile photo when you register.
• Travel content: tips (Do's and Avoid's), photos, city pins, wishlists, and comments you post.
• Social activity: who you follow, likes, and notifications you generate.

Information collected automatically

• Location data: approximate location when you use the "Find nearby tips" feature — only while the App is in use and only with your explicit permission.
• Photo metadata: GPS coordinates embedded in photos you choose to import, used solely to detect cities you have visited. We do not store raw GPS coordinates — only the derived city name.
• Usage data: device type, OS version, crash reports, and anonymised analytics to improve the App.

2How we use your information

• To create and manage your account.
• To display travel tips and city content in the feed and on the map.
• To enable social features (following, likes, comments, wishlists).
• To send push notifications about trip reminders and friend activity — you can opt out at any time in your device settings.
• To improve and debug the App using anonymised usage data.

3Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Supabase — our backend infrastructure provider (database, authentication, file storage), operating under a data processing agreement.
• Apple — if you sign in with Apple, subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• Law enforcement — when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

4Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the App or by visiting fravel.social/delete-account. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

6Children's privacy

Fravel is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us immediately.

7Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and row-level security in our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
